Great little spot. I've eaten here a few times. The Fried Oyster Platter was point on. The Cajun remoulade is smack with the oysters. Even taste delightful with the house fries. The salad itself is amazing. Everything was fresh about the salad and big slices to fill you more, and the House Made Raseberry Tarragon Vinaigrette splashed on the salad, amazing!! Will continue to order from here in the near future.

Food was great, very cute little pub. I’d never heard of this place and I live in Richmond, so I’d definitely recommend it. Super cute cocktail names and thy taste great! The service was amazing!! So thoughtful and attentive! I will definitely come back!

One of the best burgers Ive ever had. Kitschy interior that’s authentic not chain like a certain barrel joint. Near a park and the river. My floridan self enjoyed the hills too. Worth checking out.

Not only was the food delicious, it came out fast and hot. The serves was wonderful and intensive. The corned beef cabbage rolls, catfish bites and fried oysters are a chief's kiss. definitely will be back. Oh, and the Raven runner to wash it all down yummy!

"Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore" with a little but of Poeism nestled into the pub, I could imagine Edgar sitting in here enjoying a brew. A true staple of Richmond this pub offers a good amount of items to choose to eat. Staff is always friendly, sometimes a bit scattered, but always keep the mood light. Place kind of feels like a good friend's garage, with a bunch of eclectic items through. They have a dart board and there was a portable disc golf hole in the main dining area, so I guess they might put that outside to play. They have a little outside patio, for some outdoor seating. Food is always tasty. Got some pierogies which were very good. I ordered the catfish meal, Blackened, but got the catfish sandwich which was lightly fried. Waitress tried to sell me that it was Blackened, but I don't think she new what Blackened is. Wasn't a big deal and it was still very tasty. Might just confirm my order next time when there. They have a little bar you can barely at. Think they might have a good regular crowd. It might just look short of a biker bar, but it's well worth your time to check it out. "Quoth the Raven, “Nevermore.”

My first visit today definitely won’t be my last. Probably the best Reuben I’ve ever enjoyed. Sarah was our server and was perfect from start to finish. Pub atmosphere is casual and colorful. Next time I’ll get the onion rings also…my husband ordered them and I had to snitch a few! 😋 great musical selection!

Stopped in for lunch and everything was fantastic! They make the best Reuben I've ever had! Today we had the Oyster Poe-boy and the French dip, both were delicious as well. I love their remoulade for the Poe-boy, it's very dilly and obviously made in house. The staff is awesome and super friendly, makes you feel right at home.

Fantastic pub with great food and wonderful people. This is a family owned pub that serves some amazing food. I had the meatloaf, and it was scratch made with obvious love. It was moist, hearty, and probably the best meat loaf I've ever had in my entire life (sorry mom). Their chili was also really good. The staff's friendliness and the pub's atmosphere as being a great social gathering spot and a place to relax truly makes it a gem of Richmond.

A good Irish Pub! No pretentiousness, just a great, laid back atmosphere, excellent service, appropriate beer selection, good food. No intrusive music, you don't have to shout to have a conversation, altogether a pleasant time! Not for trendies, thank goodness - just real people there to relax and enjoy. I just had the appetizer pretzel, but it was fresh, soft, properly salted, and served with GOOD mustard. What I saw on other people's plates looked delicious!

We love Poe's! We've been patrons for 33 years and have always had a great meal! The drinks are good, too! Tonight we ordered through GrubHub and got our favorite, Catfish and Ribs. Delicious! Thanks you for being such a wonderful and vital part of our neighborhood! <3
